Top Kino
Cuisine and cinema - an almost irresistible match, with which the Top Kino serves first-class film highlights between Mariahilferstraße and Gumpendorferstraße; snacks and cocktails included. Afficionados can enjoy all sorts of specialties, from real Italian cappuccino from a Venetian coffee roasthouse to single malt whisky from the far north of Scotland.
However, not only film-lovers come to eat and drink at the Top Kino, with its cozy retro ambience. The interior is skillfully put together: the old leather furniture stands next to grandma's living room lamp. And the commode, on which magazines and serviettes are placed, is probably from a flea market. For that private atmosphere for two, the large windows of the Top Kino are opened in summer and little balconies set with table and chairs. Those who find them too small or even too private can take a seat in the street café right in front of the Top Kino.
The crowd is composed of students and alternative, sophisticated culture-vultures. The cinema mostly specializes in premieres of the European and Austrian Arthouse movement. Breakfast cinema is on the program on Sundays: if you like, you can combine breakfast with a movie.
