Winter at MQ
The MuseumsQuartier (MQ) in Vienna is a popular meeting place in both summer and winter. At Winter in the MQ, visitors dive into a pre-Christmas winter world. The inner courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier is being transformed into fantastic worlds of images with festively decorated Christmas trees and atmospheric light projections.
The food outlets have opened their outdoor dining areas and put guests in the mood for Advent with special decorations as well as Christmas food and drinks.
And action!
Remote-controlled cars race around in the pond of the MuseumsQuartier in the "Winter Race" (Sa, Su & hols. 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm). Competitions can also be held on the curling lane. DJs present their winter sounds in the main courtyard of the MuseumsQuartier every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 10 pm. There are live concerts every Wednesday at 6.30 pm. Oskar Haag & Band will be performing at the opening (on a Thursday for one time only, 11.14.).
