The 2024 European Football Championship will undoubtedly be a highlight of this summer. Whether you’re a die-hard soccer fan or just want to watch the game with friends, watching the matches in the coolest places in Vienna offers the perfect opportunity to share in the excitement.
Public screenings on Rathausplatz
There will be public screenings on Rathausplatz exclusively for matches involving Austria, the semi-finals and the final of the European Football Championship 2024. The area in front of the big screens will be transformed into a lively fan arena on the match days of June 17, 21 and 25 and July 9, 10 and 14. The usual wide range of culinary delights on offer at the Film Festival, which opens on June 29, will also be available. The music film line-up will be replaced by broadcasts of any additional matches at the European Championship broadcasts for which Austria has qualified after the opening of the film festival.

Public screenings in the Prater
Another public viewing area will be set up next to the Feuerdorf on Prater Hauptallee for the 2024 European Championships. Free admission, state-of-the-art LED and sound technology, shaded seating and refreshments ensure the perfect evening of soccer. A bookable VIP area will also be available.
The Garten can also easily be reached on foot along the Hauptallee and will be waiting to welcome Euro 2024 soccer fans with burgers and drinks as well as a large outdoor area and screen.Tickets for guaranteed seats are sold in advance, and these tickets serve as drink vouchers on site.

Public screening with a beach vibe
The public screening classic in Vienna: Strandbar Herrmann will be showing the 2024 European Football Championships on large LED screens. The games can be enjoyed from a deckchair, with drinks and street food from Krazy Kitchen in hand. Admission is free – no reservation required.
The Salettl in the Altes AKH will offer a sandy beach and summery ambience with palm trees, sun loungers and even a BBQ every Sunday during the 2024 European Football Championships.
Usus am Wasser is a cozy restaurant on the banks of the New Danube with finger food, drinks and a distinctive beach feeling for public screenings.
Public screenings in the sidewalk café
Ulrich is among the city venues that feature an especially beautiful outdoor seating area on St. Ulrich's Square. Naturally, this location is particularly well-suited for public viewing during the UEFA Euro 2024.
Public screening in the Augarten: The Schankwirtschaft in the Augarten is popular with diners not just for its atmosphere, but also for its house-made lemonades and seasonal dishes.
The beautiful garden of the historic Palais Auersperg, known as the auersGARDEN, will be opening its doors to soccer fans and turning itself into an inviting public viewing garden with a 30 m² screen. Spaces will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
The Chelsea has been a popular destination for soccer fans for years now. The matches can be watched either indoors on four large screens and monitors or outdoors in the sidewalk café garden on four flatscreens.
Every match will be broadcast on a big screen in the Gleisgarten food hall in Vienna. Soccer fans can also look forward to a range of delicious food and drinks served by nine food stands, two bars and an on-site beer brewery. Fans wearing a team shirt will enjoy a 20% discount on a 1 liter mug of European Championship beer.
