Sightseeing in Vienna with the whole family

Do your little ones love horses? A very special tour through Vienna city center can be made in a fiaker or horse-drawn carriage. Attractions along the route are explained by the coach driver.

Ship ahoy! On the Danube and the Danube Canal, the DDSG also offers themed boat rides for children, during which, for example, a clown provides entertainment while the parents enjoy the view of Vienna.

Do you know what a trike or a Segway is? People from 12 years of age can try out these unusual, electrically powered vehicles and get to know Vienna at the same time. Almost all of Vienna's main attractions lie along the route, which Vienna's city guides take you along on the Segway tour around the Ringstraße and through the Old City.

Some tourist guides also offer guided city walks for families. You can search for "Children and Youth Programs" in the online database of the Austrian tourist guides and contact your tourist guide direct.

Bus tours and hop-on-hop-off tours, which let you get on and off the bus as often as you like, also provide a good overview of Vienna's attractions.
