Prater events: Celebrating festivals
Events are held in the Prater throughout the year: The Praterfest is traditionally held on 1 May. In summer, there's the Praterrummel, with fun and action for the whole family. Sporty types gather for the Skate Marathon or Women's Run. In the autumn, the Kaiserwiesn awaits visitors, while the romantic Winter Market attracts them to the Prater in the run-up to Christmas.
