Gegenbauer Vinegar Brewery

The company was founded in 1929 by Ignaz Gegenbauer, whose main business specialized in the production of sauerkraut, gherkins and other pickled vegetables. Today the old cellar vaults are used exclusively to produce high-quality vinegar products such as fruit, wine, balsamic and drinking vinegars.

Visitors can discover how vinegar, oil and coffee are produced here during guided tours of the Gegenbauer Vinegar Brewery. They can see where the vinegar products mature and how these refined drops can be used to enhance many everyday dishes. Visitors can also sample a variety of products. Guests can also tour the company’s very unique guest rooms.
