Vineyard and Wine Cellar Tours

Vienna and wine are inextricably linked. After all, Vienna is the only metropolis in the world to cultivate an appreciable wine-growing industry within its city limits. Vienna’s ‘Heurige’, those cozy taverns that serve wine and offer a small buffet, are the stuff of legend.

Some of the wine taverns and wineries offer guided tours of the vineyards and wine cellars, including wine tastings.

Establishments are rarely open the whole year round. It is therefore advisable to check out the websites before paying a visit.
Tours only take place by prior arrangement.
