Youth hostels, hostels & camping
Youth hostels & hostels
Youth hostels have long since ceased to be the preserve of teenagers and twenty-somethings. Vienna’s hostels offer a total of around 3,200 beds. There's something to suit every taste - from the simple youth hostel, where you can find an inexpensive bed upon presentation of a youth hostel pass, to the large, comfortably appointed youth guesthouses. Our tip: book well in advance!

Camp sites
The two Viennese campsites MICAMPA Wien Donau and MICAMPA Wien Wienerwald are located on the outskirts of the city in the east and west of Vienna. They have a wide range of facilities and meet all the expectations of a campsite.
The MICAMPA Wien Donau Campsite is located close to Vienna’s green oases - the Lobau National Park, the New Danube and the Danube Island. If you are looking for refreshment in the cool water between sightseeing and shopping, MICAMPA Wien Donau is the right choice for you. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to direct access to the Danube Cycle Path and many other leisure activities. The nearby Copa Beach with its restaurants and bars is a great place to round off the day. Vienna’s city center can be reached in just 20 minutes on the U2 subway line (Donaustadtbrücke station).
The MICAMPA Wien Wienerwald Campsite in the west of the city on the edge of the Vienna Woods promises relaxation and tranquillity. Following a comprehensive general renovation, the campsite now offers modern facilities that combine comfort and sustainability. New to the range are the comfortable Tiny Houses, which offer space for two adults and two children. The site is also equipped with e-bike charging stations and offers e-bike rental.
There are numerous hiking and mountain bike routes starting directly at the campsite that allow visitors to explore the Vienna Woods. Culture aficionados can visit the Ernst Fuchs Museum in the Otto Wagner Villa, which is just a few minutes’ walk away. Otto Wagner’s Church at Steinhof and Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburgs, are also nearby. The city center can be reached by public transport in around 30 minutes.
Caravan pitch
The mobile home park in the south of Vienna is open all year round and has space for 180 vehicles. The pitches are between 5 x 10 meters and 5 x 20 meters. Shops and the subway station at "Perfektastrasse" are just a few minutes' walk away. Tickets for use on public transport are available at the station.
